
Carrot: 1
Onion: 1
Tomato: 1
Garlic: 1 glove
Ginger: ½ inch
Toor dal: 100gm
Coriander leaves: 2 tbsp
Pepper: to taste (coarsely powdered)
Salt: to taste
Aniseed: ½ tsp
Method
Finely chopped the tomato, peel carrot and onion and cut into small pieces. Put all the vegetables, dal, ginger, garlic, coriander leaves and salt into the pan. Add 5 cups of water and cook until they are become soft. Remove from heat and leave for 10 minutes. Then grind the cooked items. Heat oil and add pepper and aniseed, and add into the soup.
