
Bitter guard: ¼ kg
Onion: 2
Tomato: 2
Toor dal: 100gm
Green chilly: 2
Coconut milk: 1 cup
Coriander: 4 tbsp
Turmeric powder: 1 pinch
Salt: to taste
Olive oil: 1 tbsp
Method:
Wash and cut the bitter guard, onion and tomato into small pieces. Heat the oil; fry the bitter guard, onion and tomato for 5 minutes. Add dal, turmeric powder, salt and 5 cups of water. Cook till they become soft. Remove from heat and leave it for 5 minutes. Grind the all ingredients in a mixie and strain it. Boil the filtered soup. Serve with coriander leaves.
