Ven Pongal
Ingredients:

Rice: 500gm
Moong dal: 200gm
Cumin seed powder: 1tsp
Ghee: 2tbsp
Water: 6cup
Pepper: 2tbsp
Cashew nuts: 10
Method:
Wash rice and dal together and drain. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a cooker and fry the rice and dal. Add the other ingredients except cashew nuts. Add water, cover and cook. When the rice is fully cooked, garnish with roasted cashew nuts.
