Sakkarai Pongal

Ingredients
 Rice: 500gm
 Moong dal: 250gm (slightly fried)
 Milk: 2litres
 Cashew nuts: 10
 Raisin: 20
 Jaggery (powdered): 400gm
 Cardamom powder: 1tsp
 Ghee: 3tbsp

Method

Boil milk in a vessel. When the milk starts boiling, add rice and dal. When it is cooked add jaggery and ghee. Cook on a medium flame, and then add chopped cashew nuts and raisins. Serve hot.
