Rawa Pongal

Ingredients
 Rawa(Sooji): 1cup
 Moong dal: 1/2cup
 Cashew nuts: 10
 Ginger: 1tsp (chopped)
 Pepper corn: 1tsp(crushed)
 Cumin seed: 1tsp
 Ghee: 3tbsp
 Curry leave: small amount
 Salt to taste

Method

Fry rawa(sooji) without oil. In a pan, add ghee and fry cumin seeds and crushed peppercorns. Then fry cashew nuts, chopped ginger and curry leaves and keep aside. Pressure cook moong dal. Transfer it to a big vessel, add a cup of water and salt to taste and cook. Allow it to boil. Add fried rava and stir well till the rava is cooked. Finally, add the coarsely powdered pepper, jeera, fried cashew nuts, curry leaves and chopped ginger. Serve with coconut chutney.
