Chickpeas Curry
Ingredients:

Chickpeas: 300gm(soaked in water for 9 hours)
Lemon juice: 2tbsp
Garlic paste: 1tsp
Green pepper: 1tbsp(finely ground)
Green chilly: 3(chopped)
Olive oil: 2tbsp
Salt to taste

Method:

Remove the water and cook the chickpeas in fresh water till soft. If not soft enough, add a tsp of sodium bicarbonate for every half a kg of chickpeas. Continue to cook till soft. The chickpeas need to be covered with water at all times.

To prepare 2 servings:

Take 1 glass hot chickpeas. Add half of the lemon-garlic mixture, mix, crush and add some of the water in which it was cooked.

To Serve:

For each serving, put 2 spoons of the hot chickpeas. Add a little hot water (from the cooking)1-2 tbsp of the mixture of the lemon juice, crushed garlic and lots of olive oil. Serve with naan.
