
Cream: 500 gm
Milk: 5 cups
Vanilla ice cream: 3 - 5 tbsp
Coco powder: 3 tbsp
Drinking chocolate: 6 tbsp
Sugar: 12 tbsp
Gelatine: 5 tsp
For garnishing:
Grated chocolate
Method
Keep aside 1 cup of milk. Put the rest of the milk to boil along with the sugar. Mix the cocoa, cornflour and drinking chocolate in one cup of milk and add it to the boiling milk. Stir continuously for some time to prevent lumps from forming. Keep aside and allow it to cool. Beat the cream by putting it over ice until it thickens. Add it to the above mixture along with the vanilla ice cream. Mix well. Dissolve the gelatine in water and put it over a low flame. Keep stirring so that no lumps form and get a smooth flowing consistency. Add the gelatine mixture to the above mixture. Mix well.Pour this into individual cups and leave it to set in the refrigerator. Do not freeze. When set, garnish with grated chocolate and serve chilled.
